Jeddah is calling!

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix – round two of the 2023 Formula 1 Championship – will take place this weekend, and we’re crossing fingers for a strong push by our favorite driver (and Admin By Request sponsored) Kevin Magnussen!

Valuable lessons were learned, and more insight was gained with the new car two weeks ago in Bahrain. Now let’s hope the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is in even better shape for Sunday’s big race.

“Last year, Saudi Arabia was a strong weekend, we scored a few points, and I hope we can be strong here again this year. The track has been changed a bit, but I hope it’s still going to be a thrilling place to drive. It’s a circuit where confidence with the car counts for a lot. You need to be confident with the car and happy to push – because it’s a pretty fast and flat-out track,” says Kevin Magnussen.

FUN FACTS: The 27-turn Jeddah Corniche Circuit is among the fastest circuits on the Formula 1 calendar, with the spectacle heightened by the close proximity of the unforgiving walls. Safety cars has been on track in every grands prix – and the 2021 race was red-flagged twice because of crashes!

The first of the weekend’s three practice sessions will begin on Friday, followed by qualifying Saturday. Sunday’s 50-lap Saudia Arabian Grand Prix will be green-flagged at 20:00 local time (GMT +2).

Update from the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, where Kevin Magnussen qualified his Haas VF-23 #20 on a P13 in a very tight field. What a thrilling race it’s going to be tomorrow!

Race Day

Awesome update from Jeddah and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix where the Admin By Request sponsored Kevin Magnussen finished P10 and secured the first championship point of the season!

K-Mag had a thrilling battle with AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda, overtaking the Japanese driver just four laps before the checkered flag. What a race!

“A point means a lot! We didn’t start the weekend on the right foot but it seemed like we really turned things around today. We were able to get a good start, have a good race and manage the tires well. Next race is the Australian Grand Prix, and I’m really looking forward to it,” says Kevin Magnussen.

Round three of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship will take place on the 31 March-2 April at Melbourne Street Circuit in Australia.
